IPD department Medicine has 7 different Units.  It is run by a team of Doctors, Specialist Medicine, Super Specialist Medicine, GDMOs, Senior residents, Junior residents. We provide round the clock Services to IPD patients

We as a team of doctors posted in Medicine Department are providing in house facilities for patients of General Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Medical Oncology as well as Non-Invasive Cardiology IPD patients. We are the only hospital in west zone providing in house hemodialysis facility to our patients. We also provide day care chemotherapy in HDU Unit under supervision of Medical Oncologist. We also provide in house IPD care to patients of Endocrinology. We also do perform day to day bed side procedures such as blood transfusions, Platelet transfusions, Foleys catheterization, Ryle’s tube insertion, Pleural drainage, abdominal paracentesis, Lumbar punctures, Central line insertions in ICU, ICD Insertions, Kidney biopsies, Ventilatory care, Critical Care Medicine, Critical Care to patients admitted in Neurology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Oncology, non-Interventional Cardiology

1. Bedside shift reporting

5. Insulin management and glucose control
6. Medication management
7. Patient education and counselling
8. Quality improvement initiatives
9. Respiratory therapy
10. ⁠Physiotherapy to bedridden and required patients
11. Staff education and training programs

C) Achievements:

1. Fully functional 10 bedded Dialysis Unit (9 +1 ICU) facility.
2. Day care Chemotherapy Unit 8 bedded.
