Department of Medicine is largest Clinical Department at ESIC MH Bapunagar Gujarat with 98 beds IPD facility and 30 Critical Care beds (ICU + HDU) and 8 Hemodialysis beds, 8 Day Care chemotherapy beds providing services to the IPs and family of IPs. We are currently providing OPD and IPD services to patients including Super Specialty services in 4 Super Specialties. We are NABH accredited for all the services provided in Department of Medicine.

General Medicine OPDs are available daily on all working days, General Medicine OPD is run with the help of Regular Specialist Grade 1 Dr Kapil Kumar Verma and HOD Medicine department, along with one Full time Contractual Specialist in Medicine Dr Sunil B Chenwala M.D. Medicine. OPD services are run with regular GDMOs, Senior residents and Junior Residents Doctors. OPD consultation with treatment prescription and advise is given to patients.
Nephrology OPD is available daily on all working days, Nephrology OPD is run with the help of full time Contractual Super Specialist Dr Mehul Majumdar D.M. Nephrology. Consultations to IPD pts are also given Super Specialist doctors.
Neurology OPD is available on 4 days a week, Nephrology OPD is run with the help of part time Contractual Super Specialist Dr Bhavesh Solanki D.M. Neurology. Consultations to IPD pts are also given Super Specialist doctor.
Endocrinology OPD is available on 4 days a week, endocrinology OPD is run with the help of part time Contractual Super specialist Dr Mitali Desai DM Endocrinology. Consultations are also given to IPD patients by Super Specialist doctor.
Oncology OPD is available on 3 days a week, Oncology OPD is run with the help of part-time Contractual Super Specialist Dr Itesh Khatwani D.M. Oncology. Consultations are also given to IPD patients by Super Specialist Doctor.
Geriatric OPD is run with the help of Senior Medical Officers GDMOs, if required consultation is taken with a specialist or Super Specialist if needed.
Besides this we also run round the clock Department of ECG with 4 ECG technicians, Services are provided to patients both in OPS and IPD.
